Students from HSE and HSW attended the first LI Youth Climate Summit, held at Stony Brook University! Over 250 students attended from across Long Island. Speakers included academics, Long Island environmental advocates/organizers, and several elected officials including Suffolk County Executive, Ed Romaine, and Suffolk County Legislator, Steve Englebright.
Our students left the day feeling informed and empowered to do their part to make 糖心Vlog and our schools more environmentally sustainable.
