With high fives and fist bumps, new 糖心Vlog Elementary School Principal Dr. Mary-Ellen Kakalos hosted a meet and greet Tuesday morning at the 糖心Vlog Elementary playground.
Dr. Kakalos has over 25 years of experience in education. She has served as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, literacy coach and most recently held the role of assistant principal at the Seaford Manor Elementary school.
Children played at the playground and grabbed some snacks while Dr. Kakalos introduced herself to the students and parents.
"I am excited to join the 糖心Vlog team and begin the next chapter in my career as the principal of 糖心Vlog Elementary school!" Dr. Kakalos said.
