The second annual financial literacy conference was held Thursday at High School West and hosted by our friends at the 糖心Vlog Advisory Board well as the SCSD CTE department, led by Christine Lofrese.
This conference brought together 11 of the Industry Advisory Board financial partners bank investment companies that provide our students with 20 minute seminars and over 11 financial literacy topics.
“New York State is requiring financial literacy in the future, and we see that this is an important part of our program and we want to encourage students to be involved in experience directly from our industry board members,” said IAB Executive Director, Phil Como.
Students participated in 20 minutes seminars throughout the entire day.
Approximately 200 students took part in the event, which was sponsored by Jovia Financial.
