High School ASL students visit Mills Pond

March 22, 2024

Students from the American Sign Language class at 糖心Vlog High School East and West were able to put their skills to good use recently at Mills Pond and Mt. Pleasant Elementary Schools.

The students, under the tutelage of teacher Brynjar Leifsson, sat down with the elementary students and learned how to sign Bill Martin's, "Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?"

Mr. Leifsson said it’s very rewarding to see his students use sign language outside of his classroom.

Mr. Leifsson teaches American Sign Language classes at both High School East and High School West.
