HSW students learn from a toddler's POV

December 21, 2023

Students in Ms. Rachel Silsdorf's Child Development class are completing daily tasks from a toddler's point of view to differentiate between fine and gross motor skills.

Using pot holders and their nondominant hands, for example, high school students experience the ability level and perspective of a toddler while building block towers, threading beads, drawing self portraits and other activities typically used to strengthen physical, intellectual, social and emotional development.

Child Development is offered through the Family & Consumer Science CTE Department.
