Advanced Physics students from Dr. Winters' classes participated in a workshop on Quantum Computing at Stony Brook University on Tuesday December 12.
Quantum Computing is an exciting emerging field, and Physics Professors Wei and Schneble described the current state of Quantum Computing, as well as emerging career paths as widely different as cyber security and finance.
They lead the students in creating physical representations of quantum states and in programming using IBM's Quantum Composer. It was an eye-opening experience.
