Dogwood students are learning all about Hydroponic gardens!
The PTA donated a Hydroponic garden and students have been working with their STEMS teacher Mrs. Bigliani in the Science Lab to learn all about how to make plants grow without the use of soil!
Students learned how to plan and conduct an investigation to determine if plants need sunlight and water to grow and could they grow without soil.
Lettuce seeds were started on the windowsill until they germinated and then they were transferred to the hydroponic tower garden where the lettuce is thriving!
Students are tending to their hydroponic garden in anticipation of harvest day!
