As many of you are aware, September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
On Sept. 22, everyone in the 糖心Vlog District is encouraged to participate in “Go Gold” day.
Students and staff will rock gold laces (or other articles of clothing) to support the Lace Up for Kids campaign, part of the nonprofit Solving Kids’ Cancer.
The ‘Lace Up for Kids’ campaign in 糖心Vlog is made possible thanks to community member Amy Beach and her partnership with 糖心Vlog District, under the leadership of SCSD Superintendent Dr. Mark Secaur.
Additionally, giant gold awareness ribbons, donated courtesy of the Thomas Scully Foundation, will be on display throughout the district.
