Students in Mrs. Draiss's second grade class at Tackan Elementary designed and constructed a prototype that keeps an ice pop frozen for at least 30 minutes.

This experiment was part of the Project Lead The Way program, which offers STEM curriculum and includes hands-on activities, projects, and problems that relate to the real world. Students learn to solve challenges, which helps them develop critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
