The Accompsett Middle School Drama Club’s production of Disney’s "Newsies Jr." is an absolute SMASH!
The show is inspired by the real life events of the 1899 newspaper strike and how the children of New York “seized the day” and changed the course of history.
Produced and directed by Drama Club director and advisor Shekinah Brosnan, 6th, 7th and 8th grade students have been working tirelessly since February to put on the finished product.
Special thanks to Accompsett Principal Paul McNeil for supporting the production, Technical Director Melannie Ulloa, Costume Coordinator M Bozena Syska, Matt Kelly, and James Brosnan and the High School West technical crew for their work on the sound and set lighting.
The last production is 7:30pm on Saturday, May 6.
