High School East and West students enrolled in the Family & Consumer Sciences Baking 1 classes recently participated in a semi-annual cupcake wars competition. Students created a cupcake and frosting to go along with the themes given to them. They also had to include three different ingredients in their recipes to compliment the flavors. Students had a chance to use the skills they learned in class as well as let their creativity shine! Faculty and staff judged the competition in each class.
This class is offered through the CTE Family & Consumer Sciences Department and taught by Kaitlyn Cosgro at High School West and Jaclyn Grebosz and Connie Smith at High School East.
We could not be more proud of our students' hard work and effort throughout our cupcake wars competition .A very rewarding and delicious experience for all!
