Students from High School East’s National English Honor Society visited Mills Pond Elementary students this week for a Book Buddies event.
Together the students created snowman crafts that were prepared by the high school students.
The NEHS had a great time teaching and interacting with their book buddies, and the elementary students were excited to have the older students visit and read with them.
Thank you to National English Honor Society advisors, Mrs. Stavrou and Ms.Tokarski, along with librarians, Mrs. Bishop-Scioli and Mrs. Dyckova, for organizing such a memorable experience.
