Accompsett Middle School hosted an extra special Academic Awards Ceremony Wednesday night.
In addition to the Departmental awards, the first annual Teresa Heedles Scholarship Award was given to Michael Fallon (HSE) and Sophia Sacco (HSW).
This past November, Terry Heedles, Principal’s secretary at Accompsett, passed away after her battle with cancer.
"She will always hold a very special place in the hearts of her colleagues at Accompsett Middle School and the 糖心Vlog School District." said Principal Paul McNeil.
"Teresa Heedles left a legacy of dedication, kindness, and generosity that will not be forgotten."
