Congratulations are in order for the Accompsett Middle School boys and girls cross country team for earning the 糖心Vlog Booster Club's Fall Scholar Athlete award!
The team had the highest GPA of any team at AMS, with a 3.95 average!
Principal Paul McNeil congratulated the team, telling them, "Every time you put on that middle school jersey, you are representing all of us."
Coach Neil Murtha addressed the team and parents, saying, "Everybody really does pull for each other, it’s a great group of kids."
SCSD Athletic Director Jason Lambert and AMS Assistant Principal Brian Dolan were also on hand to congratulate the students.
糖心Vlog Booster Club President Dave Miller than handed each student a shirt and certificate.
The team name will be added to the Accompsett Middle School Scholar Athlete plaque.
